The Gout. I Has It.

My primary care physician has determined that my knee problem is due to gout. I will be the first person in my family known to have it. Yay! I’m a mutant.

The next step will be peeing in a jug for 24hrs and taking it to them for tests. After they test it, we will decide on which direction to go in as far as medication and such.

It’s good to have a direction to go in.

On a totally seperate note, Caitlyn, if asked will tell you Pizza goes in her mouth.

Well, it’s back to Handy Manny, children’s programming is the tits….

February 26th 2008

It’s February 26th 2008 and it is thundering out.

I love living in the South!

That is all.

Bored Out Of My Fricken Gourd!

Even though the Dr’s are still baffled about my knee, I have asked to be placed on the schedule at work starting a week from today. To tell the truth, I am dying to get back to a normal routine. Don’t get me wrong, I have enjoyed some of the time strapped to the couch. But now that I can bear weight, I gotta get the frack out of the house!

It will be good to get Caitlyn back into a normal schedule. She has been driving the dogs and her mother insane.

That is all.

Is this thing on?

If you have some time…

…please consider watching this video. Everyone knows I am a car guy. I love ’em all! I am also a racing junkie. I just recently found out that Pagani, an Italian supercar manufacturer has set a new world record at Nurburgring Nordschleife or as F1 legend called it, Green Hell. I have “driven” this course on the PS2 with Gran Turismo 4, on the Computer with rFactor and lately I have been around the ‘ring on the Xbox 360 with Forza Motorsport 2. The fastest I have been around this 14 mile circuit in a car like the Pagani has been just a tick over 8 minutes. So, I guess I have a way to go to get to the 7:27 that the Pagani driver managed. The video is a blast to watch so please give it a chance!

Sarahs Harry Potter Adventure.

To start this story, I just want to mention that we have a Netflix subscription and it and Gamefly are quite possibly the coolest thing for us lazy poor people that need digital entertainment on a damn near constant basis.

Now, to start the story:
Sarah decided she wanted to see the Harry Potter movies, so she proceeded to add them to her queue. Just went through the listing “willy nilly” and added them one by one, not realizing that Netflix wouldn’t put them in the right order when she wanted them. So, the 1st shipped Harry Potter title arrived by mail, I say the word shipped due to the fact that she did not get them in the right order in her queue. She got the 2nd movie first and was pissed off and confused at the story.

She has watched all of them now, or so she thought, but more on that in a bit. I decided that I was going to stay as far away from the Harry Potter craze as possible and let her enjoy the movies on her own, being a person that doesn’t give in to the trends. Since my knee has confined me to the couch for the most part, I decided to sit with the iPod playing. The images that were on the screen as she watched The Order of the Phoenix caught my attention, and I took the headphones off and started watching it with her. I hate to say it, but I got sucked in, and now we get to possibly the best part of this story, and the reason I decided to blog about it in the first place. I told her that I added the Potter movies to my queue, and mentioned that Netflix bothered to put release dates on them for a reason. She asked me if I had all 4 movies in the queue. I told her there were 5 movies and she got a confused look on her face and came to look at the queue. Apparently she missed the The Goblet of Fire all together.

She has seen them all, in the wrong order, and told me that she would be watching them again when they come in for me.

Gotta love her, just got to teach her how to read dates on movies that come out in series. 🙂
