Last Blog of `08!

Well. It’s been an interesting year. I am glad everyone has made it through the year generally unscathed.

The Xmas fun is over of another year, we all got some really killer stuff, and pretty soon Caitlyn will be keeping all her toys in a separate room. Next year I would like for her to get more books, ot maybe a house to put the stuff in. Perhaps some money for college. Toys are, for the most part, covered!

Sarah got Jewelry, and a game for the Wii. I got some books, tools, Iron Man and The Dark Knight on DVD and the Red XBOX 360 Controller! I got some iTunes money as well!

We ate like pigs, slept, ya know, the typical Fritz Xmas morning, we all had naps. It’s what we do.

I got a care package from Mr. Hitt featuring the Music Roulette stash. Haven’t had time to sift through it yet. I am sure I will.

I am now a part time employee at Best Buy. It feels really good, even though I can’t get my head out of Full Timer mode. I feel like I should be there right now. I am sure that will pass.

I am using a beta version of Windows 7 on my Windows box, so far I am very impressed with it. Very smooth, and stable for a beta. If it remains this fast, I don’t think I would have any complaints about it at all. We shall see.

I would like to take this time to wish everyone that reads this blog a happy and healthy 2009. I may start VidBlogging for 2009. Lucky you!!

No Titles.

It’s been a couple of weeks since my last update. I have been working. I am not going to piss and moan about having to work retail at the holidays. Truth is the customers weren’t the assholes they have/could have been.

My parents made a trip down to NC a weekend ago. We had a good time. They are coming in for Xmas as well. Should be a good time.

I am now a part-time employee at Best Buy. I will only be working on weekends. It feels good not to be as much of a slave to that place.

Not much to say this go round.

Happy Holidays!

Well, I let the folks at the big blue box know that I will be going part time. It was difficult for me to tell how they took it. Honestly, at this point in the game, I’m not concerned how they took it. I am not going to miss an opportunity to spend time with Caitlyn. This move will also allow me to concentrate on graphic design again. Maybe this time I will get something off the ground that will allow me to clip the string to Best Buy all together.

I have been digging the change to the dashboard on the XBOX 360. The best added feature is the ability to stream Netflix through it. I can update my Watch It Now queue and watch movies on the XBOX with fantastic picture quality.

I just started my “Guitar!” station on Pandora over again. Dad would love it…NOT! Nothing but players like Vai, Satriani, Morse, Petrucci… That’s right Dad, no words, lots of notes! See, look at him cringe.

Pandora is amazing! I am thrilled it is still around!

We have been Skype’ing with my parents and Sarah’s parents, and I have even had the distinct pleasure of Skype’ing with Mr. Tom Hitt. It is a truly remarkable free technology. It makes the physical distance between us a little more tolerable.

Black Friday and as I now call it, Shitty Saturday are in the books. I hope that this is my last holiday season with Best Buy. Another on might kill me.

Not much else to say. We are prepping for the holidays here. Spending time with friends and family. Mom and Dad will be down here next weekend, and then back for xmas. Looking forward to spending what time I can with them.

That is all for now. Thanks fer readin!
